January 17 "Internet Friends"Hello Everyone, I want to thank everyone who has shown such a great outpour of Love, for our "Internet Friends". Some
people are jealous of "Internet Friends". Some people consider them
"Internet Friends" even if you have not ever seen them in person. Maybe
you talked to your "Internet Friend" on the phone, but more likely on
IM or PM. Maybe these "Internet Friends" are only what they write, or
the pictures they share, or IM or email, or webcam. So because you
never really met them in person does this mean they cannot be
considered a real friend until you have actually met them?
Communication builds frienship, period. The way of the future
is over the net, everyone is so busy now they cannot meet anyone in
person anymore, unless you luck out and find someone in your area. I
never met Karie personally, but I mourn for her and her loved ones. I
talk to many people every day, most of which are from Blog sites. I
like it. Even though you have to careful and watch out for the
scammers, it is still a great way to meet people around the world. How
wonderful is that? I have tried to comment on
blogs and testimonials as time permits. It is not that I do not care,
it is that I have other things to do. If I replied to every blog of
every friend on every site, that is all I would do. I like to have
meaningful blogs, that I hope inspire others or make them happy. Lately
they have not been to happy. Time heals all wounds, big and small.
Please don't send me a message about how I don't blog enough or how to
comment on your blog. I know how. I love all my "Internet Friends". I
like to see each face and talk to each person, because without this
vessel of communication, we would all be much lonlier, and missed out
on meeting some really terrific people. I love you guys! January 11 Did you knowFriendship Bracelet Did you know that those who appear to be very strong in heart, are real weak and most susceptible? Did you know that those who spend their time protecting others are the ones that really need someone to protect them? Did you know that the three most difficult things to say are: I love you, Sorry, and Help me. Did you know that those who dress in red are more confident in themselves? Did you know that those who dress in yellow are those that enjoy their beauty? Did you know that those who dress in black, are those who want to be unnoticed and need your help and understanding? Did you know that when you help someone, the help is returned in two-fold? Did you know that it's easier to say what you feel in writing than saying it to someone in the face? But did you know that it has more value when you say it to their face? Did you know that if you ask for something in faith, your wishes are granted? Did you know that you can make your dreams come true, like falling in love, becoming rich, staying healthy, if you ask for it by faith, and if you really knew, you'd be surprised by what you could do. But, don't believe everything I tell you, until you try it for yourself, if you know someone that is in need of something that I mentioned, and you know that you can help, you'll see that it will be returned in two-fold. January 08 Two Traveling Angels Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room. Instead the angels were given a small space in the cold basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied, "Things aren't always what they seem." The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest. When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field. The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel how could you have let this happen? The first man had everything, yet you helped him, she accused. The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let the cow die. "Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied. "When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall. Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it." "Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him the cow instead. Things aren't always what they seem." Sometimes that is exactly what happens when things don't turn out the way they should. If you have faith, you just need to trust that everything will be fine. In gods name it will. 2. Laughing so hard your face hurts. 3. A hot shower. 4. No lines at the supermarket 5. A special glance. 6. Getting mail 7. Taking a drive on a pretty road. 8. Hearing your favorite song on the radio. 9. Lying in bed listening to the rain outside. 10. Hot towels fresh out of the dryer. 11. Chocolate milkshake.. (or vanilla or strawberry!) 12. A bubble bath. 13. Giggling. 14. A good conversation. 15. The beach 16. Finding a 20 dollar bill in your coat from last winter. 17. Laughing at yourself. 18. Midnight phone calls that last for hours. 19. Running through sprinklers. 20. Laughing for absolutely no reason at all. 21. Having someone tell you that you're beautiful. 22. Laughing at an inside joke. 23. Friends. 24. Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you. 25. Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep. 26. Your first kiss (either the very first or with a new partner). 27. Making new friends or spending time with old ones. 28. Playing with a new puppy. 29.. Having someone play with your hair. 30. Sweet dreams. 31. Hot chocolate. 32. Road trips with friends. 33. Swinging on swings. 34. Making eye contact with a cute stranger. 35. Making chocolate chip cookies. 36. Having your friends send you homemade cookies. 37. Holding hands with someone you care about. 38. Running into an old friend and rea lizing that some things (good or bad) never change. 39. Watching the _____expression on someone's face as they open a much desired present from you. 42. Watching the sunrise. 43. Getting out of bed every morning and being grateful for another beautiful day. 42. Knowing that somebody misses you. 43. Getting a hug from someone you care about deeply. 44. Knowing you've done the right thing, no matter what other people think. |
